Tuesday 26 April 2011 The day the work started

We weren't expecting anything to happen until Thursday so we were pleasantly surprised to find three men had started on the demolition. The wooden floor from the living room has been lifted and bagged and the concrete under it has been reduced to rubble. The dividing wall between the living room and the smallest bedroom has been knocked through and they have made a start on the kitchen and corridor. Bartie couldn't resist peeling off a few sheets of wallpaper in the kitchen.
